The Marshes are Calling
Please take me back to the Lowcountry. This collection of large originals was inspired by the low country surrounding Savannah, Georgia, and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Being a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, I spent countless days during my summers there exploring the marshes. When I think of the smell of the salty air, the dramatic shift of the tides throughout the day, and the sandbars that you can walk for miles, I’m immediately taken back to those fond days.

I did it! In the spring, I painted thirty paintings in five short weeks. This challenge allowed me to play with new techniques and enjoy the freedom of play.
