Blooming Tree Cholla
It was time to try something new, so I painted a tree cholla we saw in the Davis Mountains State Park in January. They're funny-shaped little cactus, and I especially enjoyed painting the bloom. For some reason, I think of them as the awkward cousin we've all got, maybe because they just decided to flop over. There's beauty in that awkwardness, though!
This is a 16”x20”x1.5” oil painting on stretched linen canvas. It can be hung on the wall as part of a set or individually as a stand alone feature. Please note that the colors in this painting are displayed as accurately as possible, but as colors vary from screen to screen, slight variations in person should be expected.

Please allow ten days for processing times in the studio and select the “Medium Art” option at checkout if shipping. Each painting is carefully packed with white glove service and securely packed for travel to its final destination. Whether more or less, final shipping costs will be calculated upon receipt of the destination address. This painting can also be picked up at the Studio.
