Lilac Desert Petals
Did you know that Prickly Pear Cactus is pretty resilient? While visiting Marfa, Texas, for my first solo show, I met a fourth-generation female ranch owner. While kindly giving me a tour of their ranch, she shared that the prickly pear cacti often turn purple when the plant is stressed. She also shared that if they are given water, they return to green!
This is a 16”x20”x1.5” oil painting on stretched canvas and includes a raw maple floater frame. It can be hung on the wall as part of a set or individually as a stand-alone feature. Please note that the colors in this painting are displayed as accurately as possible, but as colors vary from screen to screen, slight variations in person should be expected.

Please allow ten days for processing times in the studio and select the “Medium Art” option at checkout if shipping. Each painting is carefully packed with white glove service and securely packed for travel to its final destination. Whether more or less, final shipping costs will be calculated upon receipt of the destination address. This painting can also be picked up at the Studio.
