Pink Skies Above Me

This abstract landscape is full of layers of paint and brush strokes and was a work in progress for a few weeks. Each time I paint, there is typically paint leftover, and since I hate to waste anything, I began making brush strokes on this canvas after each mini-painting was complete. I wasn’t entirely sure what the result would be, but a cloudy sky slowly came to fruition.

This painting is an original 9”x12”x.5” acrylic painting on stretched canvas and includes a maple floater frame. It can be hung on the wall as is or put in a lovely reveal frame. It would be perfect in a reading nook or at a bedside table, and you pause to reflect on your day. Please note that the colors in this painting are shown as accurately as possible, but colors vary from screen to screen, so slight variations when viewing in person are expected.
