Veil of Violet

$3,175.00

This painting was inspired by a pause at the end of a long, icy January hike at the Grand Canyon. From the South Rim, looking southeast, the view stretched to the mountains beyond — their violet silhouettes glowing under a perfect peach-hued sunset. The canyon itself was hidden from sight, leaving only the sky and distant peaks to capture the stillness and light of that winter evening.

This is an original 24”x36”x1.5” oil painting on stretched canvas in a raw maple frame. It can be hung on the wall as part of a set or individually as a stand-alone feature. Please note that the colors in this painting are displayed as accurately as possible, but as colors vary from screen to screen, slight variations in person should be expected.

Please select the “Large Art” option at checkout if shipping.
